What is MUTA?
MUTA is the special product line by Artusio Materie Plastiche—a company with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing plastic containers, bottles, and jars.
With MUTA, we focus exclusively on bottles made from 100% recycled and recyclable HDPE plastic.
After years of research and testing, we developed a unique transformation process for recycled plastic that allows us to produce bottles that are:
-
100% recycled and 100% recyclable
-
With the same strength and weight as virgin plastic
-
Durable, solid, and reliable
And unlike most recycled plastics, our material doesn’t smell, even though it comes straight from separate waste collection.
In other words, you get the sustainability of recycled plastic without compromising on quality, performance, or customer perception.

The story behind MUTA

I am Elodi Artusio,
In 2018, I decided to accept a big challenge: to relaunch Artusio Materie Plastiche, the family business.
I had returned from years of travelling and learning about the world.
One thing particularly marked me: during my travels, which I did in more than 15 countries, I saw so much dirt. Rubbish and plastic everywhere!
These scenarios made me think. So I started to think of a way to reduce the production of virgin plastic.
I asked myself: ‘Why produce more and pollute the planet, when you can recover and recycle what has already been produced?’.
That is why, after a long period of research, I finally developed the 100% recycled and recyclable HDPE plastic line.
Thus was born MUTA, the special line of Artusio Materie Plastiche created to respect the environment and facilitate the purchase of new supplies, thanks to a minimum order of only 100 bottles.

Why are you selling small batches of recycled bottles?
If you have a small business that uses plastic bottles, dealing with suppliers can be frustrating.
It is a market where large manufacturers impose very high minimum order quantities. You then find yourself forced to order more pieces than budgeted.
To make matters worse, overproduction increases the amount of waste and pollution, harming the environment.
Thus, the damage is both economic and environmental.
I had to face these problems with caps and material suppliers, but I decided to stop this mechanism and avoid to impose high minimum order quantity for my clients.
